The 2020 edition of Africa Fashion Week London aimed at supporting sustainability of African designs premiers today, Tuesday September 15 at 6pm UK time.
In partnership with the Kwara government through the office of state’s first lady Her Excellency, Yeye Aare Erelu, Dr. Mrs Olufolake AbdulRazaq, the Aso Ofi will enjoy global spotlight for the very first time on the massive Africa Fashion Week London platforms.
The partnership is geared toward promoting Nigeria’s locally made fabrics, Aso-ofi, to the global community for a mutually benefiting purpose.
The AFWL is one of the top fashion events in the UK that provides a platform for young African designers to make a statement on the international scene.
The 10th edition of the show, which will run between September 11th and 16th, 2020, has been holding virtually on YouTube, in line with COVID-19 safety guidelines.
