Radio Biafra has allegedly commenced it transmission and broadcast in Calabar and Ikom, Cross River State capital and commercial cities.

RapidGist learnt from a letter written by Loveson Agweye to Nnamdi Kanu, Leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB that the people of Ikom in particular have started receiving signals and transmission from the Radio which frequency is yet-to-be ascertained.

In the letter titled “Letter Of Appreciation To Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, On The Reception Of Radio Biafra Signals At Ikom” and shared by Radio Biafra on Facebook, Agweye said:

“With a heart filled with joy and gratitude, I very sincerely wish to use this medium on behalf of the good people Cross River State, to fully express our thanks to the ebullient and indefatigable leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) globally, Mazi Nnamdi Okwu-Kanu for finally responding to our years of yearnings. Radio Biafra frequency is presently accessible in Cross River State, Biafraland by the people.

“We received with great excitement, the news that Calabar, the capital city, Ikom local government area and environs, can now access Radio Biafra on the recommended frequency modulation. I am personally overwhelmed with happiness that my several pleas via the media to IPOB leadership on this, have eventually paid off.

“I wish to further appeal however, that this gesture be kindly extended to other parts of the State where people yet remain cut off from the realities of our time, information-wise. Such places include Ogoja, Obudu province and environs, with other neighboring communities where the Nigeria war brought against Biafrans, commenced.

“As we expectantly and patiently await your swift response sir, we strongly believe that the accessibility of Radio Biafra signals in these areas, will holistically aid IPOB evangelism thrust. This will in no small measure, enhance the propagation gospel of Biafra restoration as well as the total emancipation of our people from the very clutches of slavery from the Fulani janjaweeds. These Islamic vampires are hell bent on taking over our ancestral lands from us for their colonies and perpetual domination.

“God bless the United States of Biafra!

Faithfully yours,

“Loveson Agweye
