When I walk on the street, people want to take pictures with me – ‘Mummy calm down’ boy speaks on new found fame (Video)

Oreofeoluwa Babalola, the little boy who went viral after a video surfaced online showing him begging his mother to calm down, has spoken on his new found fame.

Speaking with BBC Pidgin, 4-year-old Oreoluwa noted that he has not repeated the wrong deed that his mum almost punished him for, adding that he has been a good boy ever since that incident.

He opened up how how the new found fame has been for him, revealing that whenever he walks on the street, people always want to take pictures with him, and they usually seek permission from his mother.

Oreoluwa, who said his favourite subject is Mathematics, reiterated his ambition to become a police officer so as to fight corruption.

Toluige Babalola, mother of Oreoluwa said he does not like to be idle, adding that if he is not in school, he would be found playing football or riding his bicycle.

Mrs Babalola said their lives have changed ever since the video went viral.
